New York – A coalition of groups of doctors and public health organizations continued the United States government on Monday to stop recommending COVVI-19 vaccinations for most children and pregnant women.
The American Academy of Pediatrics, American Public Health Association and four other groups – as well as an anonymous pregnant doctor who works in a hospital – filed the trial before the Federal Court of Boston.
American health officials, following advice from infectious sickness experts, previously urged COVVI-19 annual shots for all Americans aged 6 months and more. But at the end of May, the Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he suppressed COVVI-19 shots from the recommendations of the centers for Disease Control and Prevention for healthy children and pregnant women.
A certain number of health experts have described the move as confusing and accused Kennedy of not taking into account the scientific examination process which has been in place for decades – in which experts publicly examine current medical evidence and chop the advantages and disadvantages of policy changes.
The new trial repeats these concerns, alleging that Kennedy and other people appointed politicians at the United States Ministry of Health and Social Services have flouted federal procedures and systematically tried to mislead the public.
“This administration is an existential threat to vaccination in America, and officials are just beginning,” said Richard H. Hughes IV, main lawyer for complainants. “If it is not controlled, secretary Kennedy will achieve his goal of ridding the United States of vaccines, which would trigger a wave of prejudice to the children of our country.”
HHS officials did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
