Angela D. Harper, MD, is in private practice at Columbia Psychiatric Associates in South Carolina, where she provides evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy for adults.
A distinguished FEllome of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Harper worked as a psychiatrist throughout his career, serving a large number of patients in various contexts, including a psychiatric hospital on the units of psychiatry and hospital drug addiction, a community mental health center and a hearth of nursing care and a rehabilitation of 350 beds. She provided a legal consultation for a number of lawyers.
Harper obtained his Diploma Magna Cum from Furman University with a baccalaureate and Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina Medicine School, where she also finished her residence in adult psychiatry. During the residence, she won numerous awards, including the Laughlin Stock Exchange of the American College of Psychiatrists, the Ginsberg Stock Exchange of the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training, and resident of the year and student in resident of the year. She was also a member of the training of the Board of Directors of the American Psychiatric Association in her last two years of training in residence.
Harper volunteered for a five -year term in the admission committee of his medical school, made numerous presentations and taught medical students and residents. She is currently overseeing a practitioner nurse. She is passionate about volunteering for the medical disciplinary commission of the State Medical Board, on which she has been used since 2015.
She and her husband are passionate travelers and have gone to more than 55 countries and territories.
