Presenters nominated for the Michael B. Jordan American Cinematheque Award

Famous friends will be there for Michael B. Jordan when he receives the 39th annual American Film Library Award next month.
Ben Affleck, Ryan Coogler and Bradley Cooper are among those asked to pay tribute to him. Oscar winners Daniel Kaluuya, Mahershala Ali and Octavia Spencer will also be part of the ceremony, along with Delroy Lindo, Phylicia Rashad, Tessa Thompson and Rocky And Creed producer Irwin Winkler all take the stage as presenters. Additionally, Donna Langley, president of NBC Universal Entertainment And Studios, will present Charles H. Rivkin of the Motion Picture Association with The Power of Cinema Award, presented by Hill Valley. The show will also include a special musical performance by Miles Caton, Ludwig Göransson and Raphael Saadiq, presenting “I Lied to You” from the critically acclaimed film. Sinners.
Jordan’s honor at the Cinematheque follows his portrayal of twin brothers Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler’s critical and box office phenomenon. Sinners earlier this year. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The event is an annual fundraiser for the American Cinematheque, a nonprofit organization that continues year-round programming at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, the Los Feliz 3 Theater in Los Feliz and the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.
