Diane Ladd’s husband was 77 years old

Robert Charles Hunter, former CEO of Pepsico Food Systems, author and third husband of the triple actress nominated from Oscars, Diane Ladd, has died. He was 77 years old.

Charles died Thursday in Texas while visiting his children, his family announced.

Hunter worked at Pepsico (Home of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell & KFC Restaurants) for 23 years, as CEO for 11 of them.

He and Ladd co -founded Exxcell Entertainment based in Ojai in 1999 – they got married in February of the same year – to produce films. Later, he played the detective Hutchinson in David Lynch’s thriller in 2006 Inner EmpireWho understood Ladd and his daughter, the Oscar -winning actress Laura Dern.

The German origin hunter also wrote the 2008 novel Curious trip: origins and 2011 follow -up, Curious trip: energyWho “exploited his intellect and curiosity for the world,” said his family.

In addition to his wife and daughter-in-law, the survivors include his children, Brandon, Amy and Emily, and her 10 grandchildren.

Ladd, 89, obtained his Oscar Price Awards for his turns Alice no longer lives here (1974), Lynch Wilderness (1990) and Hiking pink (1991).

She was also married twice an actor nominated with Bruce Oscars Dern from 1960 to 1969 and the businessman William Shea Jr. from 1973 to 1976.
