Heated guards continue from central prosecution against twins

In the section, they come.
With 10 games to do in the regular season, the Cleveland Guardians take momentum as the finish line approaches. They will try to stay hot as they will play the Minnesota Twins for four games in the next three days, starting with an opening match of the series Friday evening in Minneapolis.
Cleveland (81-71) leaves a scan on the Tigers de Detroit. The Guardians won seven in a row and 12 of their last 13 to shoot in the 3 1/2 Tigers games for first place in the Central of the American League. They are also only 1 1/2 games behind the Boston Red Sox for the final point of the wild card.
Not bad for a team that dragged it out by up to 15 1/2 games on July 8.
“We have to keep the state of mind that we have had for two months,” said hitman Guardians Jose Ramirez through a team interpreter. “Give our best and see what’s going on at the end.”
It remains to be seen if the Guardians will have enough to finish their end -of -season rally, but the manager Stephen Vogt trusts that his players can do it.
“We know that we have to take this day at a time,” said Vogt. “But this group of guys, through everything they have experienced, they have not lost faith that we are a very good team and that we can do it.”
Minnesota (66-86) will try to play the role of spoiler. The twins were in free fall, losing 12 of the 16 games in September. Ruin the momentum of a rival of a division concerns everything they have to expect as a long job to be forged.
The Twins spend two defeats in three games this week against New York Yankees. He marked his fifth series of consecutive series.
The twin outfit Matt Wallner is uncertain for the opening of the series against Cleveland. He left Wednesday’s match due to back spasms and should be reassessed on Friday.
Wallner, 27, strikes 0.202 with 22 circuits and 40 products produced in 104 games.
“Probably obtaining (medical) imaging just to be sure that we are well,” said twins director Rocco Baldelli. “He didn’t seem to be in a terrible place. He looked a little tight.”
The left-hander of the Guardians Parker Messick (3-0, 1.84 ERA) should make the sixth start of his recruited campaign when the series is opened. He has four walks and 22 stick withdrawals in 29 1/3 rounds in the big leagues.
Messick aims at his third consecutive quality start. During his last outing, he limited the White Sox in Chicago to a race on seven strokes in six rounds.
It will be Messick’s first departure against Minnesota.
The Twins will thwart the right-hander Pablo Lopez (5-4, 2.64), which will make its 14th start of the season and its third since its release from the injured at the beginning of the month. He granted two points (none) to four strokes in five rounds during his last outing against Arizona Diamondbacks.
Lopez faced the Guardians seven times in his career. It is 2-3 with an MPM of 3.40.
