Diamondbacks prohibit the support of the season after interference

Phoenix – The Arizona Diamondbacks prohibited a holder of the Chase Field season for the rest of the season due to “several offenses” during the matches, including fans interference on a fly ball to the wall in the match on Monday evening against the Giants of San Francisco.

The Diamondbacks led 3-2 in the eighth round on Monday when Christian Koss of San Francisco struck a long fly ball on the left ground. Arizona has left the Tim Tawa field player to take a leap, but the fan took the catch with its own glove, seeming to reach the fence.

The arbitrators initially ruled that Koss had released, but the call was canceled after the exam and Koss received the second goal. The D-Backs won the match 4-2.

The fan, who said that his name is Dave McCaskill, was expelled after the incident. McCaskill did Arizona Sports 98.7 FM on Tuesday, saying that he had been ejected three times and examined “new or 10” times over the years.

“Although our policy is not to publicly disclose information on our holders of seasonal tickets, the Arizona Diamondbacks make this declaration due to public speculation and multiple media information concerning the fans’ interference incident during the match of last night,” said a declaration of the team. “This particular fan has been involved in several offenses to Chase Field. Therefore, we have terminated his account of an advantage member and it is prohibited to return to Chase Field for the rest of 2025.

“This fan will have the opportunity to return to Chase Field in 2026 as long as it respects certain terms and remains of our code of conduct of fans.”
