Vera-Tuker receives a second medical opinion on the injury but could finally need surgery, sources said Schefter, endangering her ability to play this season.
Vera-Tuker, 26, was a selection of draft in the first round in 2021 and entered the last year of her contract.
The jets are counting on the 308 pound vera-tuker, which was recently elected as a team captain, to help anchor their offensive line and pave the way for their attack on the race this season.
