Could the DCU soon launch an actor to represent Dick Grayson Aka Nightwing?
When more than one actor begins to campaign randomly to play a specific superhero role, this generally means that the studio has issued palpors to the casting agencies and that their agents have been wind.
Example, Gen V Star Derek Luh and Shazam! Actor Asher Angel recently revealed a great interest in playing the former Wonder boy.
Derek Luh (Gen V) wants to play Nightwing in DCU:

Derek Luh plays Jordan Li on Gen V, student at Godolkin University with the unique ability to move forms between a man and a woman. The male form of Li has increased strength and sustainability while their feminine shape can launch energy projections.
Asher Angel is best known for having portrayed Billy Batson in Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury des Dieux (2023).
DC Studios could soon or could even be underway with the Nightwing casting process due to the fact that Dynamic Duo, a theatrical animated film (with a mixture of animation, puppet and CGI) will focus on Grayson and Jason Todd. The film is currently on June 30, 2028.
Arthur Mintz, co -founder of the Swaybox animation studio makes the film from a script written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. A previous version of the script was written by Matthew Aldrich.
Before the overhaul of the script, an official synopsis of the film emerged, which reads as follows: “The first days of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd Aka the Robins. The duo is called the dynamic duo. They are orphans, the best friends who share a new life, but their friendship will be tested by competing visions of a future including a new Dynamic Duo.”
To celebrate the announcement of the project, Gunn previously written on Instagram: “Over the Moon excited to announce the new DC studios / Warner Bros pictures animation film greenlit for theaters, Dynamic Duo, The Story of Robin … or should I say Robins, as in Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. The Idaho of Matt Reeves.
Although there are unconfirmed reports according to which Dynamic Duo takes place in the main continuity of the DCU, if that turns out to be true, James Gunn and Peter Safran will have to find an actor who can represent Dick Grayson in the next animated film and live.
