Oh, you’ll see, it’s fun!” Netflix has revealed the full official trailer for Rian Johnson’s upcoming crime thriller titled Wake up dead manalso known as Wake Up Dead Man: A knife-edge mystery. The clever mystery film premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival and received rave reviews, as expected, a much darker and more serious thriller this time. This is Johnson’s sequel to At loggerheads (2019) and Glass onion (2022) continuing with Daniel Craig returning as Benoit Blanc in what is called “his most dangerous case yet.” In it, Blanc arrives to investigate a particular murder in a church that he believes may be an unsolvable crime. The lack of an obvious suspect pushes police chief Geraldine Scott to team up with famous detective Benoit Blanc to unravel a mystery that defies all logic… The superb cast includes Josh O’Connor & Josh Brolin as priests, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaenywith Daryl McCormackAnd Thomas Haden Church.
