Denny Hamlin reacts to Richard Childress expressing the dissatisfaction of Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon Radio in Dover

After the arrival in Dover, Richard Childrade was on the radio to speak to his team and Denny Hamlin has thoughts as the team owner. RC has left its drivers, Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch, know that things are not up to it. But is it too late in the NASCAR season?

P11 for Kyle Busch and P15 for Austin Dillon. Honestly, Dover should have been an opportunity to get a pair of first 10. Things did not go this way because cars 3 and 8 fell pace at the end of the race and were bleeding places going to the finish line.

On Harmful actionsDenny Hamlin talked about comments from Richard Childress’s radio. The RCR team owner said they should “get racing cars”. They need to get a Dang speed.

“He is not responsible for managing them,” said Hamlin, defending Childrade to his co-host. “I think he challenges his employees to find different answers. He knows that the parts and the pieces are the same, but they are obviously, what I think he says is that we have to assemble them better.”

So what’s the problem at RCR? Is it cars, configuration, engines, team leaders? At this point, I feel like it could be anything.

“Well, it could be simulation, it could be tons of things. Maybe they get different answers in the tire department that others are,” said Denny Hamlin. “I don’t know. I am not close enough to the situation to really know, but I speculate here that he challenges everyone, you know, we cannot come back with the same thing. It doesn’t work. We are not fast enough. We need better cars. We have to give our drivers a better opportunity to win races. ”

As a driver and team owner, Hamlin appreciated the honesty of Childrade on the radio. He called his team in a certain way.

“I can tell you this, as a driver, however, you like it,” added Hamlin. “I would like it. If I know that I go to a firearm fight with a knife, it is like, I want my owner to have my back, saying, it is not our drivers. ”

If there is a negative from this, it could be RCR employees who retreat from the challenge rather than kissing it. Again, at that time, Childress would know who he should keep and who should go there.

“I guess the negative might be that you know, now you are going to put the spotlight on all these people who make these decisions, and they could feel the pressure of this,” said Denny Hamlin. “You know, if you can’t bear the pressure, get out of the kitchen. I just think the positive prevail.
