Star of “Euphoria”, “The White Lotus” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”, Sydney Sweeney has increased to glory in recent years and has always impressed the public. The actress in demand started young, appearing in an episode of “Heroes” from NBC as a child in 2009 and making her debut in the cinema at the same time, in the independent horror “ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction”. According to these first appearances as a starfish, Sweeney continued to accumulate a very impressive list of credits, appearing in the drama of Netflix “Everhything Sucks!” And “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” by Quentin Tarantino in Hollywood.
While Sweeney herself has regularly revealed popular with the public – her casting is often a highlight of the films and series with which she was involved – all the projects of which she was part did not have a resounding success. On IMDB, Sweeney’s lowest film scored only 3.4 out of 10, although it was one of its fans that most fans have probably missed. The film in question is “Spiders 3D”, a horror of low-budget science fiction, released in 2013. The film featured a teenager Sydney Sweeney in the role of Emily Cole, the young girl of the two film protagonists, Jason (Patrick Muldoon) and Rachel Cole (Christa Campbell).
“3D Spiders” may not have managed to impress audiences and criticism, but it offers at least a good dose of Bofy B-Movie pleasure in a horror mouth on giant spiders that infest New York. If nothing else, the film presents Sweeney’s impressive abilities as an actress even at a young age.

“3D Spiders” sees giant spiders arriving in New York after a metro tunnel was struck by debris from an old Soviet satellite, on board the experiences that were carried out on mutant arachnids. It was later revealed that these spiders were impregnated with genes of an extraterrestrial race, resulting in a species which could produce bulletproof silk for use by the army. It is hardly the cinema at High Pun. However, some fans could be shocked that “3D Spiders” is the least low film on the theme of Sydney Sweeney on IMDB.
In 2024, Sydney Sweeney had another meeting with superpowering spiders. This time, these are the spiders sought by Cassandra Webb’s mother in Amazon, just before her death. “Madame Web” saw Sydney Sweeney playing the role of Julia Cornwall, a future spider-woman, who found himself under the protection of Ms. Web by Dakota Johnson. The film Marvel produced by Sony continued a negative sequence that started with “Morbius”, hard office floping at the box office and even harder with criticism, suggesting that perhaps Sony’s efforts to produce a Spider-Man film without Spider-Man had always been unhappy.
If all of this was not enough, Sweeney had another meeting with an unfortunate spider on the set of “anyone but you” from 2023. While turning a scene with a hunter spider, Sweeney was bitten for real crew members who believed that it did not act. Maybe Sweeney just needs to avoid any adjacent role in the spider in the future.
