Dele Alli leaves the Como by mutual consent to pursue “regular game opportunities”

Dele Alli, the former Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder left the Como after accepting a mutual termination of his contract with the Italian club.
“Dele wishes to ensure regular game opportunities and, as it was not one of the club’s immediate plans, the two parties estimated that it was the right decision to separate from the closure of the transfer window,” said a como statement on Monday evening.
“The club thanks Dele for his stay in Como and wishes him the best for the future.”
As a free agent which was released before the end of the Italian transfer window, Dele would be free to join another European club and a functionality immediately, provided that it is registered in time to be included in the team lists concerned.
Athletics reported on August 7 that Dele was to leave the Serie A club and continue his player career elsewhere, unlike reports in Italy that the 29 -year -old planned to retire.
Dele signed an 18 -month contract by joining the Como as a free agent in January after its release from Everton, and only made one appearance for the team of Cesc Fabregas – which was quickly interrupted by a red card after its arrival as a replacement of 80th minute during the 2-1 defeat against AC Milan in March.
The double player of the year of the PFA of the year has trouble having trouble playing since his departure from Tottenham in 2022. Dele suffered later with Everton and Besiktas but has not played more than 20 games in a season since 2021-222. He missed the entire 2023-24 campaign by injury.

Dele spent seven seasons with Spurs after joining the club in northern London of MK Dons as one of the brightest young English prospects of the time. He scored 10 goals and helped 10 in his first season, before improving this counting with 22 goals and 13 assists the following year, while the Mauricio Pochettino team finished second in the first flight.
Despite injuries to the hamstrings, Dele also played a key role in Tottenham’s race in the 2019 Champions League final. He made a total of 269 appearances for the club.
The midfielder was capped 37 times for England, and during an appearance of Sky Sports in April 2024, he revealed his ambitions to return to the international installation for the 2026 World Cup.
In 2023, Dele spoke of his mental health in an interview with Gary Neville on overlapping, and revealed Everton’s support for him while he was in detoxification cure for dependence on sleeping pills.
