Kim Yoo-jung as Baek Ah-jin
Ah-jin is a famous actress and polite to perfection in public. However, in private, she is driven by darker instincts. Her childhood made her a person who reads people quickly and plays them even faster.
Kim Young-dae as Yoon Jun-seo
Jun-seo is Ah-jin’s longtime companion since childhood, who grew up alongside her and never drifted apart.
Kim Do-hoon like Kim Jae-oh
He is connected to Ah-jin by a shared traumatic history. Jae-oh’s role is to stay by her side and prioritize her protection in all circumstances.
Lee Yul-eum as Lena
An idol turned actress who is Ah-jin’s counterpart and competitor in the industry.
Bae Soo-bin as Baek Seon-gyu
Seon-gyu is Ah-jin’s father, who abandoned her when she was young. The motive was greed. Abandonment left a permanent wound in Ah-jin’s past and shapes her present.
Kim Yi-kyung plays Shim Sung-hee
Sung-hee is an idol turned actress and a rival of Baek Ah-jin. She openly resents Ah-jin. His jealousy is rooted in deep insecurity and fuels rivalry on and off screen.

What is the story of Dear X?
Dear X focuses on Baek Ah-jin, a strikingly talented actress who rose to the top by hiding a brutal childhood of domestic violence. She has learned to mask her feelings and read people so well that she can bend them to her will. Ah-jin is generous in public, but she is ruthless in private.
By his side for years has been Yoon Jun-seo. He has been loyal since they were young and will do anything for her. Yet Jun-seo also becomes the instrument of his ruin. Kim Jae-oh is also involved in her life. He also remained close throughout his life. Mistreated by his father, Jun-seo found in Ah-jin a reason to continue living.
Dear X consists of 12 episodes. It will be broadcast on TVING in South Korea at 6 p.m. every Thursday.
