DEA stops 600+ in a massive sinaloa cartel repression through us

A massive repression at the national level of the mortal cartel of Sinaloa resulted in more than 600 arrests, according to officials.

Among the crises: 480 kilograms of fentanyl powder, 2,209 kilograms of methamphetamine, 7,469 kilograms of cocaine, 16.5 kilograms of heroin, more than 714,000 pulled pills, 420 firearms and $ 11 million in cash.

“These results demonstrate the full weight of the DEA’s commitment to protecting the American people,” the DEA administrator, Terrance Cole, said in a statement.

“Each kilogram of poison seized, each dollar stripped of the cartels, and each arrest that we make represents saved lives and that the communities defend. DEA does not give in as long as the Sinaloa cartel is dismantled from top to bottom.”

In New England, officials said that 171 alleged cartel members had been arrested and 244 kilograms of drugs, 22,115 counterfeit pills, 1.3 million dollars in cash and 33 firearms were seized.

Arrest totals included 64 in Connecticut, 49 in Massachusetts, 33 in New Hampshire, 11 in Maine, 10 in Rhode Island and three in Vermont.

“They are our number one public enemy in New England,” said Jarod Forget, a special agent in charge of the DEA New England division.

One of the largest coordinated withdrawals in the region occurred on August 27 in Franklin, New Hampshire, where 27 people were arrested after a three -month investigation.

The authorities said the suspects had tampered fentanyl and methamphetamine of Lawrence, Massachusetts.

The operation highlighted the drive of the cartel in large urban centers and small rural communities.

“This shows that the tentacles of the Sinaloa cartel spread far and deeply; no community is spared,” said Jim Scott, a special agent in charge of the Louisville division, which covers Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginie-Western.
