David Malukas took the trauma center in a helicopter after an Indycar accident with Louis Foster in Nashville

AJ Foyt Racing star David Malukas crashed 83 during the Indycar race in Nashville Superspeedway. Malukas contacted Louis Foster and crashed into the barrier, followed by a furious radio message. The AFR driver was taken to a trauma center in a helicopter after the accident.
David Malukas started the Indycar race in Nashville Superspeedway in P2 and was overwhelmed by Alex Palou in the early stadiums. However, after the Spaniard underwent tire failure, which allowed Malukas to pass it.
The Aj Foyt Racing driver directed P2 behind Pato O’Ward when he came across the Lappee car of Louis Foster. David Malukas followed driver Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing for a few laps before trying to take a step on the 83 on the outside.
Louis Foster went to David Malukas at the exit of the Tour and contacted the AFR driver. The Malukas lost control of the car and hit the barrier outside and withdrew from the race. Caution was deployed following the incident.
The driver AJ Foyt Racing needed help from the car after the intense impact and was taken to the fields on the ground. After the initial inspection, was taken to a trauma center in a helicopter, as indicated by the medical director Indycar.
“David is fine, he is awake, he is alert, he is in a good mood. We simply send him to our trauma center for a precautionary assessment and advanced imaging,” said Indycar’s medical director.
“David was seen at Medical and is awake and alert. The Indycar medical team asked that it be transported by plane to Vanderbilt by abundance of caution for other tests,” read the tweet of AJ Foyt Racing on x
Louis Foster finally received a training penalty by Indycar for blocked the Malukas, which he served after the end of caution.
David Malukas Furious by Louis Foster; Marco Andretti requests an action from Indycar
After the unfortunate accident, which ended the strong race of David Malukas in Nashville, the AFR pilot went to the team’s radio and evacuated his frustration about Louis Foster as he said,
“That children are so … (followed by an audio cup)”
Marco Andretti went to the social media platform X and demanded that Indycar take measures against Foster’s driving standards, as he wrote,
“@Indycar, you must intervene on this kind of driving.”
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing pilot also took team radio after the collision, as he said,
“This guy is an idiot. I don’t know if I have damage or not. I’m not sure. He just refused next to me. ”
Louis Foster is currently heading a lap after serving the training penalty.
