Dave Bautista plays an unlikely role in the post-apocalyptic film after Cburn

Dave Bautista does not play the experience of experienced cooking that you could expect in JJ Perry Post-briefingA new film inspired by the soil worlds of some of the most popular post-apocalyptic films in the modern era. Instead, he embodies Jake, an ex-soldier who has become a transfer hunter who finds himself above his head most often.
The framework is the post-apocalyptic land, of which an entire hemisphere was ruined by a massive solar push which devastated society and created a land of mutants and vagabonds. Bautista (who took over for Gerard Butler) embodies one of the many treasure hunters who survive by tracing the real world artifacts such as the Mona Lisa.
Screenrant ‘S Denut de Joe Deck Post-briefingDave Bautista and JJ Perry about their point of view on post-apocalypse. They discussed working with the other a-list of the film, Samuel L. Jackson, and revealed the inspirations behind the world of the film. Post-briefing Comes in theaters on September 19.
Why Dave Bautista is not who are waiting for you in the afternoon
Many of Dave Bautista – Guardians of the Drax de la Galaxy, Beast Rabbon Harkonnen de Dune, and Army of the Dead’s Scott Ward – are experienced and experienced soldiers. Jake de Afterburn may be an ex-soldier, but according to the words of Bautista, “At one point, we thought Jake was this hard to cook really formed, and they thought it would be more interesting if it was not.”
This arises in many respects throughout the film, especially in the packing scene that teases in the trailer of Afterburn. “We thought it would be funnier if they [assumed] That he had already done this before, “said Bautista,” but you realize that no, he had not done so; He did not realize what he signed up. »»
“We wanted to play with a lot of different circumstances like that [where] He was a bit in his head. »»
Why Slovakia is for the perfect post-apocalypse
Starting to discuss the post-tour tone, the director JJ Perry recognized two clear influences: “Mad Max and Eli’s book.” But he had a great distinction.
“This one, for me, [is] Not necessarily like other films where he is heavy with combat, “ He said. “There are fights, but it’s more an action adventure than a full action film, with treasure hunt [and] problem solving. We try to reach it this way.
And, apparently, the perfect location for such an adventure was Slovakia. “This is what is happening”, Perry said, “You are pursuing a car in New York and they say,” Oh, yeah, Times square again. You make a boat prosecution in London, they say: “Yeah, look, the Tower Bridge.” »»
“No one has filmed in Slovakia for 22 years.”
According to Perry, the last film that shot there was 2001 enemy at the doors. “I mean, I filmed a small second unit on the border in 2013, but no one filmed a film which was more than a million dollars since the enemy at the doors”, “ He said. “So wherever you look at, it was something you’ve never seen before.”
“We went a little further from the city where all these dilapidated buildings [are,] So it fits, ” Perry continued. “There are many plants and places that have been dilapidated, so for us, it worked very well.”
Samuel L. Jackson is “exactly as you expected”
Afterburn presents an exciting casting supplemented by Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and the legendary Samuel L. Jackson. According to Bautista, Jackson lives up to this legend, and the star is “Exactly as you expected it to be. It is not nonsense. It is funny like F ***.”
Bautista and Perry also offered an overview of what Jackson looked like on the set. “He wants to be effective”, Bautista said, “He doesn’t have time to lose, and he will let you know, Motherf *** Er.”
“He rolled me like a praised mule all the time”, “ Perry added, “May God bless him.”
Dave Bautista praises its after-brown director
Dave Bautista worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including James Gunn and Zack Snyder. But his work experience with JJ Perry was apparently one of his best. “I love the way he interacts with his casting and his crew”, “ Said Bautista. “I have never met someone of support.”
“It is really good for evaluating energy”, “ The star continued, saying, “He knows when driving people. He knows when to go back. “ Bautista also called Perry “The most effective director I have ever worked with.”
“I want there to be a whole kind of thing behind the scenes … how creative he had to be”, “ Bautista shared. “There have been a lot of challenges on this film, and JJ had to be very creative and very effective in doing this job.”
“We had a lot of scenes that were written very large, and we simply had no budget for that.”
Perry himself thought about this process. “We had six weeks to prepare it, so we didn’t have much time to prepare,” He said, “”[and] We had 42 days to shoot it … We had to be very intelligent on the way we did things and the way we turned things up. »»
“We have filmed a lot in the same place”, “ Perry said, “So, I would film a scene here looking from left to right, then I would film the next scene per week [or] Two weeks later, but I would look on the left. [I was] Try to be super effective. »»
