Taste fans may be some of the luckiest in anime right now. Just three months after the anime’s second season ended airing, the franchise has already confirmed the production of its third season. Taste Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
The announcement was made during Jump Festa 2026 by the anime’s Japanese voice actors, alongside a new dynamic key visual. Animation studio Science SARU will once again oversee production of the hit anime.
Dandadan Season 3 Announces 2027 Premiere With New Key Visual
Sunday December 21 Taste confirmed the production of the third season of the anime during Jump Festa 2026. Taste Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in 2027. This announcement was made with a new key visual in anticipation of the release.
The newly released visual features a different color palette than previous seasons, as it uses eye-catching purple tones.
The new key visual focuses on Okarun and Turbo Granny, both looking particularly shocked and wide-eyed. Momo Ayase can be seen crouching next to them, on one knee, with a suspicious look on her face.
In the background, the key visual features the mysterious girl who emerged from the space kaiju suit and kissed Okarun at the end of the previous season. She can be seen getting out of her costume in the new visual.
Science SARU will continue to oversee production of the genre-changing hit occult series.
What to expect from Dandadan Season 3?
Dandadan The second season ended right after the mysterious girl got out of her space kaiju costume and kissed Okarun. As manga readers know, this was an abrupt break for the anime, as there were still a few chapters left before the anime ended. Kaiju Arc finished.
So, Taste Season 3 will resume from the end of Kaiju Arc and continue through the Space Globalists Arc. As the anime teases, the beautiful girl in the space kaiju costume holds the key to the story.
