Cubs to give to Kyle Tucker in difficulty a few days off to reset

Chicago-The right field player of Cubs, Kyle Tucker, is expected to get several days off after having made 0 for 4 in match 1 of a double-head scheduled for Monday, said manager Craig Counsell after the 7-0 defeat of his team against the Brewers of Milwaukee.
Tucker, 28, struggled powerfully this month, reaching 0.160 with zero additional blow. He was hooked after each of his last three stick strikes in the defeat against the Brewers, including two weak terms and a contextual window on the left terrain. He also finished during his first At-Bat.
“Fans are frustrated and Kyle is frustrated,” said Counsell. “When you go out, it doesn’t look good. He tries. He just doesn’t click. We’re going to have to step back here, just give him a few days off to reset him, hopefully.”
The players are not available to speak between the doublesheaders, so Tucker could not comment on the decision, and the match 2 was then postponed to Tuesday due to the bad weather.
Tucker has not dominated since July 19 and has only four additional strokes since July 1.
“He is frustrated, and we do not offer solutions for him and he does not offer solutions,” said Counsell. “Sometimes you have to take a few steps back to move forward.”
Overall, Tucker reached .261 with an .821 ops, but his level of the ground on the ground soared in August. It is 53.7%, 17th higher among qualified strikers, according to ESPN Research. Upon entering the month, he ranked ninth lower at the level of a ball on the ground.
“It is not for lack of efforts on the coach side or Kyle,” said Jed Hoyer, president of Cubs, president of baseball operations. “He did not hit a while. The ball is not in the air. The exit Velos are not high. A large part is mechanical. If you look at his swing at the beginning of the year, as opposed to now, he is less connected, therefore less powerful.”
Tucker blocked his right annular in early June, an injury that could have had an impact on his swing and subsequently his mechanics, but he insists that this is not a problem. The eight -year -old veteran will be a free agent after this season.
“He’s too good player for him not clinging,” said Hoyer. “It is going hot again. I hope it is a hot heated sequence as in April.”
This sequence will not start at least for a few games, because Tucker will continue to work behind the scenes to find solutions while obtaining mental reset. Meanwhile, the start of the Cubs Cade Horton left Monday’s defeat during the third round due to a blister problem, but he said he thought he would make his next start.
“It’s nothing crazy,” said Horton.
