Liverpool and Bournemouth began the new Premier League season in Anfield, but before kick -off, tributes were paid to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva after their tragic death.

His wife Rate and their children are present in Anfield, and the message of Liverpool supporters was clear: Rute, Dinis, Duarte, Mafalda – Anfield will always be your home. You will never walk alone.

Following this, a minute of silence was observed, how many DJ20s and AS30, concerning the shirt numbers that the two brothers wore during the 2024-25 club in their respective clubs.
