COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Fire Department said its crews extinguished a fire east of Red Rock Canyon Wednesday afternoon.
The fire department said crews responded to the area of 31st Street South and Highway 24 around 2:40 p.m. for a 10-foot by 10-foot grass fire.
At 3:03 p.m., the fire was extinguished.
Fire crews reminded the community that although Colorado Springs received snow recently, the city is still experiencing dry conditions.
