Cowboys G Rob Jones for 2025 after breaking the bone in the neck

Oxnard, California – The first season of Rob Jones with Dallas Cowboys ended in the training camp.
After Jones suffered a broken bone on his neck on July 28 during the first padded practice, the cowboys placed the reserve reserve on Friday. Jones received a period of recovery of two to three months, but his return to the field was never certain, so the cowboys chose to place it on the injured reserve.
He could have returned this season if he had been on the list to the finals later this month.
Jones signed a one -year contract with cowboys worth $ 3.75 million and with 3 million dollars guaranteed. At the time of his injury, he had seen a first team action but was probably going to support the Tyler Booker recruit at the right -wing guard. Jones started 30 of the 49 games in four years with Miami dolphins before joining the Cowboys.
The cowboys have signed the ball carrier Malik Davis to take the place of the Jones list. Davis has been released by the cowboys in April after spending most of the last two seasons in their training team.
With Miles Sanders missing time with a bruised knee and Deuce Vaughn only returning now from a tension to the hamstrings, the cowboys needed the ball carrier. On Thursday, Jaydon Blue recruit underwent an ankle injury in practice, leaving the cowboys with only three entirely healthy runners: Javonte Williams, Phil Mafah and Hunter Luepke.
