Shortly after the first of the show, Koch was able to visit Erik and Lyle in prison alongside Kim and Khloé Kardashian and their mother, Kris Jenner. He told people that it was an experience for which he was “so nervous”.
“I had told them about both, so I knew that we already had a camaraderie, and they knew where I was standing. I told them that I supported them and I thought them. I had the feeling that they were going to welcome me with open arms, but still as breathtaking to meet someone you listened to and that you are inspired.”

He said there was “an immediate link” when he arrived at the Correctional Center of Richard J. Donovan in San Diego. “I was able to kiss them both, and I sat down next to Erik in this circle with all the other incarcerated people who told their stories, and they were both so nice. They are incredible people. ”
