Conor McGregor Planning “6 -month operation” for the UFC White House card: “There is a lot in play”
Conor McGregor emphasizes the preparation of his return to the UFC White House map in 2026 before making other plans for the future.
Before the BKFC 82 Saturday where he is a promoter and co -owner of the company, the former UFC champion with two divisions addressed his return in the hope that he will face Michael Chandler on the historic card provided for the White House next year. “I have eight months and I go to the White House event. I’m just impatient to climb the steps to be ready for my return. There is a lot in play, and I am very excited on the occasion.
“I was right there with my last. I was in an incredible state. Incredibly well prepared. Just a slight concentration scale led to an injury. I want to correct this and show what I am. I can’t wait to come back, and we will see what the future has in store for us. ”
McGregor underwent a broken toe in training a few weeks a few weeks before his fight previously planned against Chandler who abandoned his return to action.
Since then, the Irish superstar has been working largely on companies outside the cage, which included its investment in BKFC.

With his latest appearance in the UFC which takes place in 2021 when he underwent a horrible broken leg during his Dustin Poirier trilogy, McGregor admits that he will have to put all his attention on training and the preparation to make sure he is ready for his return.
“There will be a period of isolation for sure when the phone will not be replied,” said McGregor. “All my people involved with me understands that it happens. As I said, it is a six -month operation. I am not illustrated with what awaits us in my preparation efforts. The phone will be extinguished and the work will be done.”
It is well documented that McGregor still has two fights on his current UFC contract, which is why there have been so much speculation about the departure of the free agency to compete for BKFC.
But what about fighting for BKFC while being under contract with the UFC?

McGregor admits that he has not yet had this conversation, but the UFC gave him permission once for a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, so everything seems possible.
“I did not approach it,” said McGregor. “There were a few offers for exhibition boxing battles that were not repressed, which were engaged, and they did not come. So, they were not fully engaged but the naked conversation was not really addressed.”
One thing that will be considerably different for McGregor in his expected Return of the UFC, is to obtain the usual financial windfall attached to its fights that occur on the menu.
From 2026, the UFC paramounts in an agreement of $ 7.7 billion with all events – including high -level numbered cards – being broadcast at no additional cost for Paramount + subscribers with selected emissions also on CBS.
