Connections 119: pediatric support treatments

Although many of us think of adults first and probably elderly people when we think of the three pillars of support care – Advanced care planning, palliative care, pelving services – there are many children who suffer from several chronic conditions, some of whom are in terminal phase.
The OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois to the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center provides pediatric support care advice and mourning support. This pie graph illustrates the 433 families who were treated in this regard that around a quarter had their child in neonatal user (Usin), a quarter was in pediatric users (USIC) and a quarter were in the center of family birthing.
Support for council and mourning is greeted by affected families. If you have any questions about this type of support, do not hesitate to contact Laura Sollenberger, OSF supervisor Pediatrics Carel Carel support at (309) 624-9631.
