Concerns Emerge Over Norman Powell, Major Tyler Herro News as 8 Listed Against Mavericks (Dec. 3)

THE Miami Heat released massive injury updates ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. Eight players are on the injury report, headlined by the starting backcourt of Norman Powell and Tyler Herro.
Powell is questionable with a sprained left ankle. This is a new injury he picked up after previously suffering groin and hip injuries. Powell missed four games because of these injuries. The Heat are hoping his new illness isn’t a major problem. Powell is their leading scorer, averaging 25.0 points in 17 appearances. The Heat will need it against the Mavericks, who are No. 5 on defense.
Thanks for the submission!
Herro is available to play although he is on the injury report due to surgery on his left ankle. The star guard returned Nov. 24 against Dallas and has played in all four games since.

Jaime Jaquez Jr., Andrew Wiggins and Nikola Jovic have also been upgraded to be available on the official injury report. Jaquez Jr. returned Monday against the Clippers after missing time with a right groin strain. Wiggins is listed on the injury report with a left hip flexor strain. Jovic returned on Saturday after suffering a right hip impingement.
Keshad Johnson and Pelle Larsson are the other injured players. They are both questionable. Johnson is dealing with a head injury and illness, while Larsson is dealing with a sprained right toe. The duo, along with Powell, will likely be a game-time decision.
Terry Rozier remains the only player confirmed for the Miami Heat as he continues to remain sidelined due to a gambling investigation.
