The Trump administration strives to dismantle inclusive education efforts by opposing diversity, equity and inclusion (1); Encourage division actions in schools from kindergarten to 12th year such as the prohibition of books (2) and the exclusion of transgender sports children (3); And put an end to more than $ 1 billion in prizes funded by the government granted to training programs, professional development and research to advance inclusive STEM education (4, 5). As educators and researchers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), we call on the administration to reverse these harmful policies. In the meantime, we urge the community and education establishments STEM to continue their efforts to make education at all levels more inclusive and equitable.
