Turmeric is a wonderful spice with so many advantages. I love using it in the kitchen, natural beauty recipes, and especially this refreshing lemonade! We keep this turmeric lemon recipe at hand in festive drink for summer barbecues, picnic picnics and friends that stop.
Easy turmeric lemonade
We mainly know turmeric as a cornerstone of Indian cuisine and curry powders, mustards, etc. Unfortunately, many foods to which I like to add turmeric, such as soups, stews and hot golden milk, do not sound as well in hot weather.
This turmeric lemon recipe is the ideal solution and a family favorite. I have done it often for children so that they can rehydrate while they play outside and spend days at the beach. It’s incredibly easy to do and taste!
Turmeric offers a magnificent color, but its earthy taste is mainly hidden by the lemon flavor. I like to use liquid stevia to soften this, although any natural sweetener would work. Honey or maple syrup are delicious options!

This refreshing turmoil with the lemonade combines terrible turmeric with fresh lemon and natural sweetness for a delicious summer drink.

Add all the ingredients to a high -speed mixer.

Mix at high for about 60 seconds, or until the ice is completely crushed and smooth.

Let stand 30 seconds to allow the foam to settle.

Serve immediately, on additional ice if you wish.

- If you don’t consume it all at the same time, make smaller lots by cutting the recipe in two or even a quarter. I prefer to use stevia to maintain the sugar content, but any natural sweetener like maple syrup or honey will work well in this recipe.

Optional flavor booss:
- Add a few thin slices of fresh ginger before mixing
- Use a pinch of sea salt for hydration
- Use coconut water instead of ordinary water for electrolytes
- Try to add sparkling water after mixing for a sparkling version
- Use lemon juice instead of lemon or orange juice (use 1 cup of orange juice and reduce the water by 1/2 cup).
FAQ for the turmeric lemonade
Why drink it immediately?
Turmeric tends to settle down and fresh lemon juice can oxidize over time. In addition, the crushed ice melts quickly, diluting the flavor and modifying the texture. For the best taste and the advantages, take advantage immediately.
How to store it
If you have to do this in advance, keep the lemonade in an airtight container in the refrigerator and shake or stir well before drinking. It is better consumed within 24 hours.
