Adam Schweitzer has officially joined WME as a senior associate in the talent department, the agency announced Tuesday.
The agent, based in New York, previously worked at CAA, where he was a senior talent agent for the past three years. Schweitzer was one of several agents who reportedly left the Century City-based company in late November to head to WME. WME had no comment at the time.
Much of Schweitzer’s impressive list of award-winning clients made the move with him.
Names in bold include Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy, Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Ferguson, two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz, Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler, Golden Globe nominee Cooper Hoffman, Oscar nominee Hong Chau, Golden Globe nominee Sir Patrick Stewart, BAFTA winner Tom Hollander, Cannes Best Actress winner Diane Kruger, Cannes Best Actress winner Paddy Considine. BAFTA, Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria, two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest, Tony Award winner Nina Arianda, actor Jim Sturgess and screenwriter Emily Ziff Griffin.

Schweitzer began his career at ICM as an assistant in 2000 and rose through the ranks. When CAA acquired the company, then called ICM Partners, Schweitzer was a managing director and board member, overseeing both the talent and brand departments.
