Ciara and Adam Lambert head south of France to reach the scorching Gala Amfar Cannes.
As previously announced, the starry program for the 31st Gala Cannes has a performance by Duran Duran and the host Tajari P. Henson. The gala, which takes place each year at the end of the Cannes Film Festival, should take place at Cap-Eden-Roche Hotel on May 22.
“We are delighted to have such a sensational range of talented artists – the iconic Duran Duran, Ciara and Adam Lambert – for us at Amfar Gala Cannes this year and we are deeply grateful for their support for our work,” said the CEO of Amfar, Kevin Robert Frost. “We are also delighted that the incomparable Taraji P. Henson has graciously agreed to act as a host for the evening.”
In conjunction with the news of Ciara and Lambert, AMFAR also revealed the chairs of the event, some of which will be present: Pedro Almodóvar, Angela Bassett, Odell Beckham Jr., Halle Berry, Len Blavatnik, Adrien Brody, Ron Burkle, Marion Cotillard, Tom Cruise, Colman Domingo, Alessandro David Glass Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Heidi Klum, Spike Lee, Julian Lennon, Demi Moore, Coco Rocha, Carine Roitfeld, Caroline Schefele, Russell Wilson and Ciara, Jeffrey Wrigh and Kevin McClatchy.
The black tie gala will once again offer a live auction of luxury products, experiences and art led by auctioneer Simon de Pury. Carine Roitfeld is back in the fold to organize a fashion show with looks by participating creators Alaïa, AMI Paris, ATSUKO Kudo, Balenciaga, Chanel, Courréges, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Duran Lantink, Dsquared2, Elie Saab, GCDS, Jacquemus, Laquan Smith, LOEWE, Nina Ricci, North Face X Skims, Off-White, Prada, Richard Quinn, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, Skims, Valentino and Yanina Couture.
Chopard is the night presentation sponsor with additional support from the first Air France, Kodiak Pictures, Beluga Vodka, Champagne Telmont, Dassai Sake, Gérard Bertrand Wines and Rum Rosé. The gala takes place towards the end of the 2025 Cannes Festival, which takes place until May 24.
