Chris Martin de Coldplay tells fans to “send love” to Charlie Kirk’s family

Charlie Kirk was not a fan of Coldplay – once, saying that he found his music “very difficult to listen to” – but the leader of the group, Chris Martin, urged fans to spread love around the world, including Kirk’s family.

Martin, during the Coldplay concert at the Wembley stadium in London on Friday evening, called the crowd to “send love wherever you want to send it to the world”, in particular to “to Charlie Kirk’s family”.

Kirk, the pro-Trump founder of the non-profit non-profit non-profit organization focused on students, was killed on Wednesday during a debate at Utah Valley University. He was 31 years old. Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two young children. Friday, the authorities announced that they had arrested the alleged shooter.

“For the last time for a few years in London, let’s raise the hand like that” – said Martin on stage, raising his arms on his head – “and sending love wherever you want to send him to the world. There are so many places that might need it today”, depending on the video taken at Wembley’s concert (see below). The show of September 12 was the latest music stop by Coldplay Music of the Spheres.

Martin continued: “So here it comes from London. You can send this to your brother or sister. You can send it to families of people who have gone through terrible things. You can send it to Charlie Kirk’s family. You can send it to anyone’s family. You can send it to the people you disagree with, but you send them love anyway. ”

In July 2025, Kirk had declared in his program: “I would prefer to be taken dead than to be at a concert of Coldplay. I would prefer to go to a WNBA game to go to a Coldplay concert. I couldn’t think of something more boring and banal and a waste of time. But that’s good, it’s a free company, you can do whatever you want. ”

“I find that Coldplay music is very difficult to listen to,” said Kirk in the segment.

Kirk made these remarks as part of the commentary on the viral video of the CEO of technology and its HR head took the “Kiss-Cam” during a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The segment of “The Charlie Kirk Show” was entitled “The only word which perfectly explains the viral CEO of Coldplay Cheater”. According to Kirk, the only word is “shame”.
