Chris Gotterup winning at Genesis Scottish Open, open championship qualifier

The Genesis Scottish Open is in books and Chris Gotterup is the name at the top of the chapter for 2025.
Gotterup finished 15 sous in one of the most fun tournaments on the calendar, two to two by Marco Penge and Rory McILroy. He marked the second victory of the PGA Tour for Gotterup and notably won him in the open championship next week at the Royal Portrush.
Gotterup caught fire on Friday’s round when he displayed a score of 9 sous, which made him arise in serious affirmation. Even on Saturday made things made a little trembling, but its 66 Sunday were enough to do it with a little room for the error. Just enough.
Before Sunday, the best finish of the season for Chris was a T12 in Zurich, so it is just to say that he had looked for a moment of breakthrough in 2025. This moment is here and again, he will see him up the last major championship of the season after that.
Congratulations to Chris Gotterup. He will remember Sunday for a long time.
