Chicken cheese pasta

Fast and easy pasta with all the flavors of sandwiches with chicken cheese steak!

ingredients
  • 8 ounces pasta (gluten -free for gluten -free)
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 book breasts or thighs of boneless skinless chicken
  • 1 teaspoon (smoked) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of oregano (or Italian seasoning (link))
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth (link) (or water)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (optional) (gluten -free or tamari for gluten -free)
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce (optional) (gluten -free for gluten -free)
  • 1 tablespoon of spicy sauce (like Frank’s Redhot)
  • 1 tablespoon of the Montreal steak seasoning (link) (or salt and pepper to taste)
  • 1/2 cup of cheese (optional)
  • 4 Provolone slices
instructions
  1. Start cooking pasta as shown on the packaging.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken, seasoned with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cayenne, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the onion and pepper and cook until it is just tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the broth and soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, spicy sauce, seasoning, bring to a boil, reduce the fire and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat, mix the cheeses and let them melt in the sauce.
  6. Mix the pasta, possibly adding part of the water in which the pasta was cooked to obtain a good consistency of sauce and enjoy!

Option: Use chopped chicken.
Option: Add 1 cup of heavy cream / whipped cream, as well as cheeses.
Option: Add 4 ounces of cream cheese, as well as the cheeses to melt in the sauce
Option: Add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, grated, as well as the cheeses to melt in the sauce
Option: Add 1/4 cup of cheese parmesan, grated, with the cheeses to melt in the sauce
Option: Replace the Provolone with American cheese.
Option: Make a meal to a pot by cooking pasta in the same pot! Add 3 cups of beef broth and the pasta in the pan in step 3 and cook until the pasta is finished, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Option: Add fresh parsley to the end!
