Chicago weather forecasts today include chances of violent storms; Strong wind, high rain, isolated tornado possible

Chicago (WLS) – There is a violent chance of time on Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday will be very hot and humid, with summits in the 90s.

Between around 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., strong storms in Graves are possible, said the meteorologist ABC7 from Chicago, Larry Mowry.

A large part of the area includes a level 2 risk of violent time; Northwestern Indiana and some southern suburbs run a level 1 risk.

The strong winds seem to be the greatest concern, but an isolated tornado will be a possibility. Strong rains can also worry about certain localized floods.

There is also a chance of storms on Thursday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this weekend, Saturday being the day with higher chances of rain.

Tuesday was hot and humid, with temperatures around 90. Heat index values pushed in the mid -90s in certain places.

There was a little chance of shower on Tuesday evening, but most of the region had to stay dry.

There is an air quality alert for the rest of Tuesday, but the air quality is not as bad Tuesday compared to Monday.
