The Lynx of Minnesota finished on Saturday with a hard victory of 92-87 on the sky of Chicago in a closely disputed match at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Naphesesa Collier dominated with 26 points and five rebounds on an effective shooting of 8 out of 13 in just under 26 minutes. Courtney Williams collected 17 points, while Bridget Carleton added 11 for Minnesota.
For the sky, Kia Nurse and Rachel Banham each marked 14 to lead Chicago, while Kamilla Cardoso contributed 13 points and nine rebounds, and Angel Reese finished with 10 points and five assists.
The two teams are now preparing for regular season action next weekend – Minnesota faces Dallas wings on Friday, while Chicago meets Indiana fever on Saturday.

Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx: game recap
The competition was closed early, with a 11-11 draw in the middle of the opening quarter. Chicago advanced with a 11-5 race crowned by a pointer at 3 Ariel Atkins, giving them an edge of six points.
Bridget Carleton helped trigger a Lynx rally to increase by 25-22 with two minutes to do, but Sky Backs buckets gave Chicago an advance of 27-25 at the end of the first.
The Minnesota jumped in the second, building a two-digit cushion at 44-33 with five minutes to go. However, the sky fell back, reducing the advance to 48-42 at halftime, thanks to a Buzzer Elizabeth Williams deep drummer.
The third quarter saw the swing momentum in both directions, with a shot from Williams Hook cutting Lynx’s advance at only three to 72-69 before the fourth.
Rachel Banham nailed a triple at the start of the final setting to give heaven an advance of 74-72, and the two teams exchanged blows until the match was tied at 85 with less than three minutes.
The Lynx then closed it strongly, running a decisive race of 7-2 to seal the victory and put an end to his pre-season on a high note.
