Chicago shooting leaves one injured, one dead on North Spaulding Avenue in East Garfield Park: CPD

CHICAGO (WLS) — Two men were shot, one fatally, Tuesday afternoon on Chicago’s West Side, Chicago police said.
A 38-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were in an alley in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue in the city’s East Garfield Park neighborhood shortly after 1:15 p.m. when four suspects got out of a vehicle and started shooting, police said.

The 38-year-old man was shot several times and died at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
The 18-year-old was shot in the leg and arm and was taken to Mount Sinai in fair condition, CPD said.

Police did not immediately provide any additional information on the suspects or victims.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
