Forecast:

Temperatures climbed in the 80s in the mid-80s across the region on Tuesday, but showers and thunderstorms are expected to arrive this afternoon and in the evening while a cold front is growing from the west. The Storm Prediction Center placed northeast of Illinois under a marginal risk of violent time.

The main threat of any stronger storm will be to harm the gusts of wind, although not everyone will see serious conditions. Scattered showers and some elongated thunderstorms will linger this evening and Wednesday.

Wednesday, the fresher air will settle down. The high temperature should occur just after midnight in the mid -1970s, most of the day stuck in the 1960s. Some places along the lake could even see temperatures diving in the 50s.

What is the next step:

The rain will gradually weaken on Wednesday evening, making room for a quieter Thursday with a sky and partially cloudy summits from the bottom in the mid -70s. The chances of rain returned on Friday, but the tops should stay in the 70s.

With the aim of the weekend, Saturday promises to be the choice of the group – sunny and pleasant with tops in the 1970s. Another series of showers and a few storms could arrive on Sunday, with temperatures climbing the upper 70s.
