Beat the brewers: If the Cubs win today, they will win the season series against Milwaukee. They have not won this series this season since 2022, when they took 10 of the 19 of the Brewers.

Colin Rea, Rhp against Jacob Misiorowski, Rhp
It will be Colin Rea’s second departure against his former team. The last time, on July 29 in Milwaukee, he gave nine strokes and four points in four rounds.

Since then, however, Rea has been pretty good. It has an MPM of 2.30 and a whip of 1.021 in three August, departures covering 15.2 rounds, with 15 stick withdrawals and no authorized circuit.
So it would be quite good to continue, I would say.
Jacob Miriorowski left his departure on July 28 against Milwaukee Cubs with a knee injury. He was placed on the injured list and activated for a start last Friday against the Reds. They struck it hard: five strokes, three goals on bullets and four points in 1.1 round. He launched 54 locations to record four withdrawals.
So … it would be quite good to continue, I would say.
