Chelsea striker, Cole Palmer, would be a target for Manchester City.

According to a Fichajes report, Manchester City tried to sign the player with an offer of 170 million euros. Chelsea has now refused the approach, and they require 250 million euros to sell the international in England.

Cole Palmer is a world class talent

There is no doubt that Palmer is one of the best young players in the world, and it is intended to become a future superstar. It is not surprising that Chelsea does not want to sell it, and they ask for an absurd sum of money. If a club decides to pay the price requested from Palmer, it would be a world record transfer, by eclipizing the amount that PSG paid for Neymar.

Palmer has been exceptional for Chelsea since he joined the club, and he is undoubtedly the best player of the club. Chelsea cannot afford to lose it. They hope to fight for major trophies, and they have to keep their best players.

Meanwhile, it is not surprising that Manchester City wants to sign the player. The former graduate of the Manchester City Academy has become a Chelsea star, and they will certainly regret the decision to let him move on. If they can bring it back to the club, it would be a world class decision for them.

The 23 -year -old will not only help them improve in a creative way, but he will also get goals consistently. After the departure of Kevin de Bruyne, Manchester City will need a presence of superior quality like him in the last third.

Although there is no doubt that Manchester City is one of the richest clubs in the world, it seems unlikely that they pay world record fees to palmer anytime soon. It will be interesting to see how the situation is developing in the coming weeks.
