Chelsea prepared to make a formal approach for 40 million pounds sterling forward
Chelsea is now ready to make a formal approach for an “electric” striker of 40 million pounds sterling, which could be online to join the Simons of RB Leipzig, revealed that Fabrizio Romano revealed.
Blues intensifies the pursuit of new attackers
The Blues have already considerably strengthened their attack options this summer, signing Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, but they remain eager to make at least two other additions to their front line.
Xavi Simons is one of the online attacking fields for a move to Stamford Bridge, and Romano revealed that the Dutchman was impatient to join.
Not only does the Enzo Maresca team seek to attract a new attacking midfielder, but they also remain eager to sign a new winger, despite the addition of Jamie Gittens to their ranks this summer.
In a report for offside, Romano said Chelsea was now ready to approach Manchester United Alejandro Garnacho once the team’s space is available, with Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku among the players who could be sold.
Once the transactions to sell the two attackers are finalized, the blues plan to put pressure for Simons and Garnacho, who were identified as their two main targets, and there have been suggestions that an agreement for the latter player could amount to 40 million pounds sterling.
The Blues have already agreed personal terms with the Argentinian, but the discussions on an agreement for Simons would be more advanced, so the Dutch could be the next new arrival.
Garnacho “electric” must leave Man utd
Manchester United fans were left smoking with the behavior of their winger this summer, with no doubt the boiling point when it was represented with an Aston Villa shirt with the name of Marcus Rashford on the back.
As such, it is probably preferable for all games if the 21 -year -old continues this summer, and the loss of United could be the gain of Chelsea.
The Red Devils were well below the season last season, finishing 15th in the Premier League painting, but the Argentinian international managed to impress sometimes, Troy Deeney claiming that he was the only “brilliant light” in the Manchester derby in April.
Journalist Liam Canning also praised the starlet as “electric” in the past, and he already has a lot of experience in the first team, amassing 26 goals and 22 assists in a total of 144 appearances for Man United.
As such, transfer fees of 40 million pounds sterling would be reasonable, and Chelsea hopes to obtain an agreement on the line as soon as possible, with the new Premier League campaign which will start very soon.
