Chelsea players celebrated with the legend of the NFL Tom Brady after winning the Club World Cup

Chelsea crowned the 2024/25 season unforgettable – not only by winning the revised club World Cup, but celebrating the moment with the style alongside the royalty of American football.
The Enzo Maresca team was dominant in the final, sending European champions Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. The star Cole Cole Palmer struck twice, with João Pedro by adding a third – his third goal in two games – to secure the title.
Among the star crowds were the American president Donald Trump, who made a surprise (and long) appearance during the presentation of the trophy, and the NFL Tom Brady icon, who looked at Trump’s private suite before joining the Blues for an unforgettable night.
After raising the trophy, the Chelsea jubilant team returned to their team hotel where hundreds of fans had gathered to welcome them as world champions. The celebrations continued at night with a private party, where players, staff and VIP guests have toasted the end of an exhausting campaign of 11 months.
Brady – A winner of the Super Bowl at seven times – was a special guest at the event, with several Chelsea players queuing for photos with American legend. The new signature Darrio Essugo shared an instant on Instagram stories labeling Brady La Chèvre and looked particularly delighted to meet him.
There have also been team karaoke performances – including Moisés Caicedo, echoing scenes from their triumph of the Europa Conference League in May – while Maresca, the Chelsea success architect, was also represented to celebrate with New York Festival staff.
João Pedro, whose move of 60 million pounds sterling from Brighton already looks like a good deal, presented in a slide clip shared by the post-match club.
“João, you were on vacation and now you are world champion,” he said. Smiling, he simply replied: “What can I say – it’s Chelsea.”
It will undoubtedly be music to the ears of blues fans everywhere.
