Chelsea, Aston Villa and Barcelona among the clubs condemned to a fine for having violated the financial rules of UEFA

Chelsea, Aston Villa and Barcelona are among several clubs to have been sentenced to a fine by UEFA for breaking the financial regulations over the years ending 2023 and 2024.
The financial control organization of the UEFA Club (CFCB) ruled that Chelsea must pay nearly 27 million pounds Sterling, the Barca 13 million pounds sterling of 9.5 million pounds sterling with the three settlement agreements on different durations.
If these agreements are not respected in full, other financial sanctions will be imposed.
The entire sanction of Barça and most of those which were distributed in Chelsea and Villa, are due to the CFCB decision, they did not respect the rule of football profits with particular attention to transactions involving the sale of tangible or intangible assets, the exchange of players (what are called “exchanges”) and the transfers of players between the related parties.
