Charlie Hunnam has found Lost Ed Gein bands for Monster season 3

The star of Monster: the story of Ed GeinCharlie Hunnam, revealed that he had discovered shocking recordings that even the researchers of the show were unable to find. Season 3 of the Anthology series by Ryan Murphy follows the Midwest Serial Killer, Ed Gein, which is the inspiration behind several classic horror films such as Psycho And THE Silence of Lamb.

In Monster Season 3, Hunnam, who depicts the thief of murderous tombs, found a very devoted and creative way to enter the state of mind of a serial killer. In an interview Screen Rant’s Liam Crowley, the actor revealed the information he learned after a series of endless calls and emails.

Hunnam has “tirelessly” wanted the ed gein bands

Hunnam explained that he had discovered recordings via a documentary entitled Psycho: Ed Gein’s lost bands. After listening to band extracts, he was determined to find the complete and not cut versions. He contacted all those he could think of who could have access to these alleged recordings.

“Where there is a will – and there was a will – there is a means. Extracts from these bands had been in a documentary entitled Psycho: The Lost Tapes [of Ed Gein] on Amazon. They were only tiny little extracts, but that is how whoever knew that these bands existed. So, I just started calling tirelessly and sending an email to everyone [who] was involved in this project. “”

The actor said that all his hard work had borne fruit because he had managed to obtain a copy of the recordings of Joshua Kunau, whom he described as a “Really beautiful generous producer. “” He recalled that he had to sign an NDA before receiving an MP3 file from an interview which took place after the arrest of Gein.

“”This interview was taken at night after the arrest of Ed Gein, and the reason why these recordings were never broadcast was because they did not read his Miranda rights, and he had been beaten by the assistant sheriff, who was the son of Bernice Worden. She was one of Ed’s victims, and her son was assistant sheriff and had access to Gein and beat him. They have always thought that these cassettes would be inadmissible, so they have never been broadcast. They stayed in a dusty drawer forever. “”

Regarding his real performance as a gein, Hunnam was just as devoted as he was doing research for the role. Like all actors in similar positions, he had to completely change his physical appearance during filming, which might seem quite stressful. However, Hunnam explained that he was so busy that he didn’t really have time to stop and relax.

“Honestly, I avoided decompression – not in a way of acting the method. It is really difficult to fully live someone you are not. At night, there was not really time not to be super focused on this.”

However, Hunnam also clearly indicated that he agreed with his busy schedule. He even said that he had really appreciated how busy this role kept him: “I like a challenge. I would say that it is the work executioner much more than the method. “”
