Channing Tatum says that actors are encouraged to do bad things for money

Channing Tatum becomes frank to navigate the cinema trade.
During a recent appearance on “Hot Ones”, the star of “Roofman” said that in the current state of industry, he has the impression that the actors are “encouraged” to appear in productions below money rather than making a big swing on something “really, really good”.
“I think now, when you are asked to make a film, or you try to make a film, it’s a very confused pipeline of possibilities,” said Tatum. “It really feels like you are encouraging to do bad things to be paid, rather than doing something really, really good, for the whores of people who can see these things and [for the type of] The people I want to see these films, the person I was when I was a child. And I want good movies.
He added: “I say to myself”, guy, I want to give my money to good movies. “It’s a moment upside down, but I believe that the disturbance will lead to something good.
Later in the episode, Tatum took a few blows to his past work. Asked about his 2010 romance “Dear John”, he described it as a film “Tel Generic”. Speaking of his role in “Deadpool & Wolverine” of 2024, he said that he did not feel like “part” of the film because he was “inside only for two seconds”.
This is not the first time that Tatum has been talking about Hollywood problems. In his Variety Cover Story, the star of “Magic Mike” said that the banners have caused great confusion in the entertainment industry, both “for good and evil”.
“The banners have entered and have applied the industry a little-for good and for evil. The studios are confused; the banners are confused,” he said. “You encourage me to go to a lower film – a B script, a programmer who is not special.”
