The disagreement between the longest-serving players in the Indian dressing room and the Indian head coach is now evident. Reports suggest a feud between the head coach and Virat Kohli, who have been at odds throughout their playing careers in the IPL.

This was confirmed when Virat Kohli underwent a significant change in his body language after India’s thumping victory in Visakhapatnam. After scoring another unbeaten half-century, he left the field all smiles alongside centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal.

He warmly celebrated the victory with his teammates by hugging them with gestures and handshakes. However, when it comes to Gautam Gambhir, Kohli’s body language has changed significantly. His handshake looked very formal and he quickly moved on, leading to further suspicions about the veracity of the situation between the two.

However, Virat has unleashed a new side of himself in the batting department but continues to be the same engaging and fun character on the field. He appeared very determined on the field and often engaged the crowd with his happy-go-lucky antics.

Virat was also named player of the series following his magnificent run in the series. He played three games and finished with over 300 points in the series, alongside two hundred and fifty, averaging over 150.

It is worth mentioning that the two Indian legends were seen playing in the Ranji Trophy last year before India made it to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy; however, they later announced their retirement from the format.

Now, the two Indian greats who are in exceptional form and have accumulated over 300 runs for India individually since their return have also been asked to make themselves available for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Kohli and Rohit have also reportedly agreed to participate in the domestic tournament.

Virat Kohli is very likely to make a much-awaited return to the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time since 2010 when he last represented Delhi in the domestic competition. Kohli has already informed the DDCA of his availability.
