Celebrity Traitors’ Charlotte Church slams Alison Hammond after appearance on This Morning saying she ‘p****d me straight away’
CELEBRITY Traitors star Charlotte Church has admitted she was left behind after Alison Hammond was “rude” during an awkward This Morning appearance.
The singer, who is currently taking part in the hit BBC reality show, revealed in a new interview that she was angry with Alison after the TV host made fun of her during a segment she hosted on the ITV daytime show.
Charlotte opened up about the moment on Elizabeth Day’s podcast after clips of her appearance went viral on social media.
During the segment, Charlotte was invited onto This Morning to host a five-minute sound bath session.
However, unfortunately for Charlotte, Alison found this a bit too much and found herself laughing and grimacing throughout the entire segment as Charlotte tried her best to continue.
Revealing she was angry with Alison afterwards, Charlotte admitted the moment touched her.

When Elizabeth asked if she was “bothered” by Alison’s reaction to taking a sound bath, Charlotte replied: “Oh, that pissed me off straight away.”
“That pissed me off right away.”
Elizabeth then added, “Yeah. I felt for you.”
Charlotte continued: “I met Alison Hammond several times and she is a wonderful woman.
“I think part of it was an error of judgment on my part in saying ‘let’s do a five-minute sound bath on national television. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah, let’s do it’.”
“I think it was an error of judgment on my part, but I think what bothered me more than anything else was that I was then given the opportunity to sort of exhibit and demonstrate and represent this amazing art of sound healing or sound ceremony or however people want to describe it, and then it became a figure of fun.”
In another candid confession, Charlotte added: “It really hit a pretty deep wound for me.
“I was like, ‘ugh, I really love you, Alison, but fuck you.’
The awkward moment played out live on ITV last year with Alison in fits of laughter during the sound bath ceremony.
Charlotte had asked Alison and her co-host, Dermot O’Leary, to lie down in order to fully engage in the ceremony and the healing nature of the sound bath.
The Welsh singer became a fan of the experience after running her own sound baths as part of her exclusive retreat in Wales.
Charlotte sang and made noise throughout the experience, but Alison had to put her hand to her mouth to stop the laughter that echoed through the TV studio.
Dermot managed to keep a straight face, with Alison forced to apologize at the end of the segment.
The host said at the time: “I’m really sorry… I feel like I was rude.”
