Democrats attract the flames of the Maga Epstein saga
By Ben Ben
Democrats echo criticism of the law of the way President Donald Trump and his administration have dealt with files related to the sexual offender, sentenced Jeffrey Epstein.
It is a striking reversal for a party which quickly condemned Trump’s unspoken claims into the financier investigation and his death almost six years ago.
Democrats have now spent days stinging the bear after an administration note has overturned the conspiracy theories linked to Epstein’s past activities and its suicide in 2019. Democratic legislators demand that the Trump administration publish more documents related to the Epstein survey, accusing the president and his allies for a coverage or a range of camouflage to exploit the conspiracy of the EpStein after politics.
And the candidates and the Democratic committees attracted the flames while some of Trump’s most eminent right -wing supporters threaten a revolt on the issue.
With Maga World Bouillonnant, key members of his administration in disagreement and Trump himself on defense, the Democrats adopt the raw policy of the situation, despite their previous reprimand.
On social networks: The DNC has launched a new account on X which publishes daily messages reminding its subscribers that Trump has “not published Epstein files”. The story has also republished Trump -related criticism and Trump focused on the main influencers of social media.
On Capitol Hill: Representative Marc Veasey, D-Texas, announced that it would present a resolution “demanding the release of the Trump administration all files related to the Epstein affair”.
On the campaign track: Senator Jon Ossoff, D-GA., Who presents himself to the re-election in a state which became red during the presidential election of last year, criticized Trump on the issue while invoking the allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse against the president and his past social relationship with Epstein. (Trump denied allegations of sexual misconduct and denied any irregularity linked to Epstein crimes.)

The struggle of the Democratic Party on generational change rockets in Arizona
By Alexandra Marquez and Alex Tabet
It is hot summer – at least according to the Democrats who organize themselves behind young and progressive candidates in a series of primaries out of year.
The first was Zohran Mamdani, the 33 -year -old legislator who won the primary Democrat mayor of New York against former governor Andrew Cuomo. (More on this race below.) Now, a special election for a vacant seat in Congress in southern Arizona attracts attention partly because of the campaign of a young Democrat.
After the death of the representative Raúl Grijalva in March at 77, Deja Foxx, 25, gained ground before the Special Democrat primary on Tuesday in the 7th district of Arizona, operating on a generational change message and hoping to take advantage of the support of its nearly 400,000 supporters of Tiktok and 240,000 Instagram followers. But she does not have a clear path against the old supervisor of Pima County, Adelita Grijalva, the daughter of the deceased member of the Congress and former representative of the Daniel Hernandez State.
Grijalva, 54, with mentions of Senator Bernie Sanders, I-VT., And the Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Dn.y., does not give Foxx the same ideological opening as Mamdani exploited in New York. Not only did Grijalva’s father served the Congress district for over 20 years, but Hernandez also has brothers and sisters who serve in the state house.
However, the race was part of a broader national conversation between the Democrats on the age of elected leaders of their party and the desire for generational change.
In a recent interview, Foxx recognized that her age had played a role in the messaging of her campaign and the support she has drawn from young people across the country.
“We have lost ground with young people as a party for the first time for decades … and it is not enough to simply put our members of the Congress on Tiktok, on the right or to inform them of trends or put mini-micro opposite. We must give young leadership,” said Foxx.
Whoever wins the Democratic primary is likely to win the general special elections of September to represent a section of Tucson on the American-Mexican border.
