Red SOX 6-2 game recovery (August 5, 2025)

Boston – – Garrett Crochet dispersed four strokes in seven rounds and Trevor Story struck a blooper in the central field to break a sixth round equality on Tuesday evening and led the Boston Red Sox to their seventh consecutive victory, 6-2 on the Royals of Kansas City.
Hook (13-4) withdrew eight to win his ninth consecutive decision and help Boston win for the ninth time in 10 games. The story rolled in two points in the sixth and added another simple RBI in the seventh row of the three points, when the Red Sox took an advance of 6-2.
Ryan Bergert (1-1) granted two points on two strokes and two steps, removing two in 5 2/3 heats. He traveled Alex Bregman with two withdrawals in the sixth, then Angel Zerpa entered and abandoned a double to Wilyer Abreu before the story launched one on the head of the second goal to do it 3-1.
The Red Sox loaded the basics with two withdrawals in the seventh on two walks and the single of Jarren Duran out of the Glove of the Copped Stop. Abreu struck a contextual window which was between the second base player of the second base and the right right defender to score two points, then Story chose another race to do 6-2.
Crochet withdrew the first 10 strikers from the Royals before Bobby Witt Jr. The AS of the Red Sox granted only one more stroke before Garcia went to the seventh and no longer marked on the double of Randal Grichuk of the tip of the Glove of the Galle of Left Duran to do it 3-2.
But Crochet withdrew Nick Loftin for the second withdrawal, then obtained Luke Maile on a quick 97 MPH ball to end the Channel.
Garcia made two strokes for the Royals.
The Red Sox are 13 games above 0,500 for the first time since the end of the 2021 season.
The teams finish the series and the Red Soxs operate for their second consecutive scan when the acquisition of the Dustin May trade deadline (6-7, 4.85 ERA) made its debut to the Red Sox against Michael Wacha de Kansas City (5-9, 3.38).
