The New York Giants quarterrier, Jaxson Dart, said on Tuesday that there was “never doubt” that he would play at home Thursday evening against the defending champions of the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dart was listed as a full-fledged participant on Tuesday after being a limited participant due to a problem with the hamstrings in the giant injury report on Monday, when the team did not train, participation is therefore an estimate. Head coach Brian Daboll said earlier Tuesday that Dart would be allowed to play during the short week.

“I feel good,” said Dart. “I’m excited.”

The recruit has played four games, starting the last two with the Giants beating the Los Angeles loaders visiting 21-18 before losing last Sunday 26-14 in New Orleans. The pain in the left hamstring was revealed after the victory of September 28 during his first departure, and he played the whole match against the saints.

DART completed 39 of the 60 passes (65 percent) for 313 yards, three affected and two interceptions. He also rushed 19 times for 109 yards and a touchdown.

The Giants selected Dart in the first round (25th in total) of the NFL 2025 recovery against Ole Miss.

The wide receiver Darius Slayton (ischio-legs), the right platform Jermaine Eluemornor (DOS) and the seconds Swayze Bozeman (ankle) and Demetrius Flannangan-Fowles (hamstrings) missed training for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

The offensive half Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder), the Dru Phillips corner half (hip) and the safetys Dane Belton (shoulder), Jevon Holland (calf) and Tyler Nubin (groin) were on the list of limited participants for the second consecutive day.

The Giants (1-4) welcome the Eagles (4-1) to East Rutherford, in New Jersey. The left guard of Philadelphia Landon Dickerson, selected three times in Pro Bowl, could miss the next two games due to an ankle injury suffered during Sunday’s defeat against the Broncos de Denver, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Tuesday.
