Cast “ How to train Your Dragon ”: Meet the actors of remakes

The live adaptation of Universal Studios and DreamWorks Animation of “How to Train Your Dragon” flies in theaters on Friday June 13, giving fans a new look at Hiccup, Tooled, Astrid and the rest of the Vikings on Berk.
Logènement based on the Cressida Cowell book in 2003, “How to Train Your Dragon” tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking adolescent who dreams of becoming a big killer dragon like his father. Although he is not physically capable of killing a dragon, the inventive hiccups builds a net launcher that catches a night fury, the most elusive dragon of all Berk. After finding the injured body of the dragon, Hiccup discovers that he cannot resolve to kill him. He became friends with the creature instead, appointing him to be amazed. Hiccup goes against everything he learns from his father about dragons and decides to use Eddenété as a way to study and better understand what dragons can do. The two form an improbable link, and when an ancient threat emerges, which endangers the two worlds, the toothless friendship and Hiccup becomes the key to fill the two worlds together.

Mason Thames (hiccups)
The main protagonist in the series, Hiccup, is played by Mason Thames. In the film, Hiccup desperately wants to follow his family line and become a Dragon fighter. Although Scrawn more than other Viking children, Hiccup has the advantage in the brain. After one of his inventions caught the elusive dragon known as Night Fury, Hiccup forms an unexpected link with the legendary beast. Thames is best known for his role as Finney Blake in “The Black Phone”. He will soon play in the suite “The Black Phone 2” later this year.

Nico Parker (Astrid)
Astrid, Berk’s best young-combatant, is played by Nico Parker. She is daring, cunning and the de facto chief of the Vikings in training. While Hiccup has a crush for Astrid, Astrid is often bored by his awkward puffs. She ends up being wary of the sudden Hiccup dragon expertise and discovers her secret link with Krokmou. Parker is best known for her role as Sarah in “The Last of Us” by HBO. His film credits include “Dumbo”, “Suncoast” and “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy”.

Toothless
The Night Fury is a dragon that no living Viking has never seen … so far. When Hiccup accidentally pulled one in a fight, he becomes the first person to see a night fury closely. While Hiccup begins to sympathize and understand the dragon, the two slowly form a link. He ends up appointing him to be swinged because of his retractable teeth. Tooralmou, although always a cunning beast, is a loving and faithful companion under the watch of Hiccup.

Gerard Butler (Stoick the vast)
Gerard Butler resumes his role as Stoick the vast of the original “how to train your dragon”. Stoick is the leader of the Vikings and the father of Hiccup. Stoick, devoted to tradition, is Berk Butt Butt Butt Kicker and often embarrassed by his skinny son. Even so, Stoick does everything he can to help Hiccup follow his traces. Butler’s other film credits include “The Phantom of the Opera”, “300” and “Den of Thieves”.

Nick Frost (Gobber the Belch)
Nick Frost plays Gobber The Belch, the blacksmith with a hand of Berk and the unofficial dragon combat instructor. Gobber becomes Hiccup’s mentor when he has trouble sailing in the world of humans and dragons. Frost is best known for his roles in the Cornetto trilogy of Edgar Wright, composed of “Shaun of the Dead”, “Hot Fuzz” and “The World’s End”. His television credits include “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” and “Doctor Who”. He will soon play Rubeus Hagrid in HBO’s “Harry Potter” series.

Gabriel Howell (Snotlout)
Gabriel Howell plays Snotlout, the youngest young Viking and the most impetuous on Berk. He has the solid crush on Astrid and likes to embarrass Hiccup during the training of dragon fights. Snotlout’s excessive confidence is often moved, and just like Hiccup, he desperately wants his father’s approval. Howell is best known for his roles in “NightsleEper” and “Bodies”.

Julian Dennison (Fishlegs)
Julian Dennison plays Fishlegs, a young Viking with encyclopedic knowledge of each kind of dragon. Although it is not a lot of combat aid, it is a precious asset to know the weakness of a dragon in a pinch. He finally became one of Hiccup’s best friends. Dennison’s film credits include “Hunt for the Wilderpeople”, “Deadpool 2” and “Y2K”.

Harry Trevaldwyn (tuffnut)
Harry Trevaldwyn plays Tuffnut, the twin brother of Ruffnut and a close friend of Snotlout and Fishlegs. He and his sister are always bickering on and out of the Dragon combat arena. Towards the end of the film, the two twins share a dragon companion. Trevaldwyn is known for his performance in films like “The Bubble” and “Ten percent”.

Bronwyn James (call cut)
Bronwyn James plays Ruffnut, the closest friend to Astrid and the Tuffnut twin sister. Ruffnut is with a strong head and always ready to fight. Throughout the film, Ruffnut and Tuffnut disagree with each other with regard to Berk’s best fighter. James played a support role in “Wicked”, where she played Shenshen, one of Glinda’s friends. She also appeared in projects such as “Harlots”, “Call the midwife” and “Lockwood & Co”.
