Casey Jones # 2 Overview sees the violent vigilante renew his rivalry with Raphael
The first issue of IDW Ninja Turtles mutant teenage spin-off series focusing on Casey Jones is now on the shelves, and IGN has shared an overview of the second issue, which will see Jones and Raphael renew their rivalry.
Casey made his debut in Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird Raphael One-Shot in the 80s, and volatile vigilants immediately clashed. After initially blocked heads, Raph and Casey became good friends and remained close to most of the comics, live and animated Tmnt adaptations over the years.
The synopsis below explains what leads to these two crossed swords (well, know and Hokey Sticks).
“Before Casey Jones meets his brand new enemy Ludovic, he will have to fight with his best friend Raphael first! Casey investigates the rumors of a false mutagen striking in the streets and seeks the one who goes after mutants in the street, knowing in his Gut, they are connected. But he soon stops by Raphael. Their feelings before being arrested by Ludovic, who wants to fight them all. both. “
Casey Jones is written by Alex Paknadel (Cult of the Lamb: The First Pours) and designed by Amancay Nahuelpan (Crush & Lobo), and should strike the shelves on November 19.
“Now you have met Ludovic, and you just know that he is on a collision trajectory with our too human casey,” Paknadel tells IGN.
“Believe me, our boy is about to be put through the spinner in a way that you have never seen before. We hope you join the journey because we just start.” Nahuelpan adds’ “I had an explosion to draw Casey and the whole team in the number 1, and I can’t wait for the fans to see what will happen, with more important fights and more important threats to our boy!”
